Kniga is a German brand with a large range of vehicles and equipment of the U.S. Army and the German Army. All kits are made of resin. Modelers should be
used to resin for working with those kits. Nevertheless, beautiful models can be built. Some are conversion kits for Trident® or Herpa®. Others are
complete kits.

Some work with nice results

Kniga really made a nice work adding new variants of the well known Dodge D200. This model is a modified copy of the Minitanks Dodge, preserving all detailed parts (including the engine) with a good modification for the double cabin. The modifications are: double cabin, longer chassis with modified interior, shortened cargo zone and the addition of a hard top.
The model comes with some excess of resin in difficult areas and small bubbles in the exterior, but with patience with the cutter, putty and sanding the final result is really good.
While the cabin fits perfect on it''s position, the pick up piece doesn''t fit very well, it requires sanding the rear low part of the cabin and look carefully the rear wheels position to avoid the pick up piece to touch them.
Something I missed a lot were the windows, due to it''s special shape in the front and side it would have been nice they added at least a clear vacuform piece for them, but with some work you can make your own ones, so I recommend you to use the original Minitanks Dodge windows as a template to make the new ones with clear plastic pieces.
In brief, even if you use it as military or civilian vehicle, you will get a nice addition to your collection after some work.
